Accomodations:
The main campground is located on a peninsula and has 65 wooded sites for RVs or tents. 50% are on the lake and most of the off-water sites offer views of the lake. All sites are in a natural forest setting of spruce, hemlock, and birch - all have electric and water hookups (30 amp service). All electricity is run with our generator, please contact us for current generator hours.
Our wilderness campsites include 38 lakeside and island tenting sites accessible only by canoe or boat. Wilderness campsites include fire ring, outhouse, and picnic table.

The quiet waters of Paugus Point, Bur II, and Half Moon Cove invite wilderness canoe adventures, while fresh breezes that rustle the trees lure a paddling reprieve.
A reflective saunter along the nearby Appalachian trail is rivaled only by a watchful moose or deer entranced by the patience of the devoted angler.
All geared up to land salmon, trout or togue, cast your line in 17 miles of lake or fly fish Upper Dam Pool or the Rapid River at Middle Dam.
Meander the rural lakeside until the summer skies become your canopy of stars and by the clean smell of wood, rest satisfied that you have embraced the naturalness of both water, woods, and shore.
Staying with us
South Arm Campground welcomes you with open gates one week before Memorial Day. Check in time 2pm, check out time 12pm. Well behaved pets on a leash are welcome, please bring their rabies certificate. The main campground closes late September. July and August waterfront and beach sites rent from Saturday to Saturday. Holiday weekends require a 3 night minimum. Please email camp@southarm.com for current fees and a full list of regulations.

Our 40 slip marina can supply canoes, kayaks, and small motorboat rentals as well as gasoline for boats.
Clean restrooms with hot showers and a new laundromat are conveniently located in the main campground in addition to a dump station.
